Jasper Philipsen wins 4th stage of Tour de France

Caleb Ewan comes in 2nd, Phil Bauhaus finishes 3rd on 113-mile route from Dax to Nogaro

ISTANBUL

Jasper Philipsen of the Alpecin-Deceuninck on Tuesday won the fourth stage of the Tour de France, marking two consecutive wins.

The 25-year-old Belgian cyclist finished the 181.8-kilometer or 113-mile route from Dax to Nogaro in four hours, 25 minutes, and 28 seconds.

Caleb Ewan of the Lotto-Dstny team came in second while Phil Bauhaus of Bahrain Victorious finished in third place.

Adam Yates from Great Britain remained the general classification leader for UAE Team Emirates with a time of 18 hours, 18 minutes, and 01 second.

The fifth stage of the Tour de France will be held on a 163-kilometer (101-mile) route from Pau to Laruns on Wednesday.

The race will end on July 23 on Paris' Champs-Elysees after stage 21.
