The English Premier League is set to see a North London derby between fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal on Sunday.

Leaders Arsenal are vying for English title that they have been waiting for 20 years.

Arsenal last won the Premier League in 2004 and were undefeated during the season.

The Gunners' "Invincibles" squad in 2004 coached by French manager Arsene Wenger had French stars Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Robert Pires, English full-back Ashley Cole, Swedish midfielder Freddie Ljungberg, and Dutch forward Dennis Bergkamp, who made impact.

Meanwhile, Tottenham want to finish the 2023-24 Premier League campaign in the top four. The home team of Sunday's derby, Spurs may also hurt Arsenal's title bid.

Tottenham last won the English league title in 1961 before the Premier League era, which started in 1992.

Before the Arsenal derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs have 60 points in 32 matches to sit in the fifth place.

Aston Villa are fourth with 66 points and will face London's Chelsea, who are in lower ranks this season, at Birmingham's Villa Park on Saturday.

Leaders Arsenal have 77 points in 34 matches but the Gunners are not alone in the title race.

Manchester City, the defending champions, took 76 points before visiting Nottingham Forest on Sunday. Second-place Man City have a game in hand.

Liverpool are third with 74 points, and will visit West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday.

The 2023-24 Premier League season will end on Sunday, May 19, with the 38th match week.

The Tottenham vs. Arsenal derby will start at 1300GMT.
