ISTANBUL

Türkiye's benchmark stock index was up by 0.48% to 9,763.37 points at the opening session on Friday.

The index has lost 0.05% to 9,716.77 points at Thursday's close.

The USD/TRY exchange rate was 32.5790 as of 10.05 a.m. (0705GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 35.0170, and the GBP/TRY traded at 40.7580.

The price of one ounce of gold was $2,339.50, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $85.45.
