Barcelona is set to take on Napoli in the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League.

The UEFA Europa League knockout playoffs were drawn on Monday at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

With a disappointing European campaign this season, Barcelona failed to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages.

The Spanish giants finished Group E in third place with seven points, behind Bayern Munich and Portugal's Benfica.

Now they have to eliminate Italian club Napoli to reach the last 16 in a two-legged knockout format.

The first legs will be played on Feb. 17 and the second legs on Feb. 24.

The winners of the knockout stages will join the Europa League group winners for the last 16 draw.

The round of 16 draw is scheduled for Feb. 25.
