Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,392.91 points on Friday, up 0.09% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,383.25 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 1.27 points from Thursday's close of 1,391.64 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,827 by market close, unchanged from the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $75.22 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT).
