The New York Knicks claimed a 137-127 victory over the Atlanta Hawks in overtime on Wednesday as Julius Randle took the spotlight to finish with 40 points.

Randle made a double-double with 40 points and 11 rebounds at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Immanuel Quickley and Derrick Rose came off the bench to add 20 points, while Reggie Bullock produced 18 points in the victory.

Trae Young, who left the game with an ankle injury, performed a double-double with 20 points and 14 assists in 30 minutes before exiting.

Swiss center Clint Capela also helped his team with 25 points and 22 rebounds.

With the overtime win, the Knicks won eight games in a row, having a 33/27 win-loss record in the NBA's Eastern Conference.
