Liverpool win Merseyside derby in Premier League
The Reds defeat Everton 4-1 in English Premier League week 14 match
Liverpool defeated Everton 4-1 in a Merseyside derby Wednesday.
The Reds started fast and drew first blood in the ninth minute as Jordan Henderson's left footed shot found Everton's net at Goodison Park.
Henderson made an assist this time to Egyptian star Mohamed Salah which he appreciated and made it 2-0 for Liverpool in the 19th minute.
Before the end of the first half, Everton took one back with English midfielder Demarai Gray in the 38th minute.
Liverpool didn't slow down in the second half as Salah scored again in the 64th minute and made it 3-1 for The Reds.
Diogo Jota scored the fourth goal for Liverpool from a difficult angle in the 79th minute and the game ended 4-1.
Liverpool is in third spot in the Premier League table with 31 points while Everton is placed 14th with 15 points.

An English Premier League match between Watford and Chelsea was delayed for almost half an hour due to a medical emergency.
A fan in the stands needed urgent medical attention and was treated in the stands at Vicarage Road Stadium in Watford.
The fan is now stable and being treated in hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest, according to sources.
Later the same evening, another medical emergency halted a match between Southampton and Leicester City.
This time, a fan needed medical attention during half-time, and the start of the second half was delayed by around 15 minutes at St. Mary's Stadium in Southampton.
