The 2020 Belgian Cup final in football will be played on August 1, the country's football body said on social media on Thursday.

"Club Brugge and Royal Antwerp will play the Croky Cup final on August 1,' Belgian Football Association tweeted.

One of the cup finalists, Royal Antwerp said on their website that the game will be held at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels and will be behind closed doors for health reasons.

On May 15, Belgium's top-tier Jupiler Pro League ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic as leaders Club Brugge were declared this season's champions.
