All major European markets closed the day with losses on Tuesday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, dropped 4.72 points, or 0.97%, to 479.79.

The UK's FTSE 100 index closed the day at 7,563.55, down 47.68 points, or 0.63%.

Germany's DAX 30 was down 1.01%, losing 148.35 points to reach 15,883.24.

France's CAC 40 decreased by 0.94%, or 67.81 points, to 7,133.83 points.

Italy's FTSE MIB lost 205.28 points, or 0.74%, at 27,483.28, while Spain's IBEX 35 was down 57.10 points, or 0.65%, to 8,781.6.

On Tuesday, almost all stock markets in Asia also closed with decline as concerns on inflation and faster-than-expected tightening of monetary policy triggered a rapid rise in bond yields, which negatively affects investor risk appetites.

Turkiye's BIST 100 index also closed the day at 1,979.83 points with a fall, down 5.08%.
