Boe brothers share podium in biathlon 10km sprint at Beijing Games

Norway's Johannes Thingnes Boe bags gold while brother Tarjei Boe gets bronze in men's 10km sprint

ANKARA 

Norway's Johannes Thingnes Boe and his brother Tarjei Boe shared the podium Saturday after the Olympic biathlon men's 10km sprint at the 2022 Beijing Winter Games.

Johannes Thingnes Boe won gold in a time of 24:00.4 while Tarjei Boe settled for bronze in 24:39.3.

French Quentin Fillon Maillet got a silver medal after he finished in 24:25.9.

"We are very proud being here, in first and third place, as brothers," Johannes said about the proud moment.

It was Johannes; third gold medal. He won as part of the Boe brothers who stood at the top of the podium with Norway's Mixed Relay 4x6km (W+M) team on Feb. 5.

Johannes also won gold in the 20km individual biathlon at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games.
